Samuel Santa Cruz and his family have been farming their rich lands in Santiago, Chile for over 20 years. Since the beginning, they’ve always felt the most rewarding part of farming is the joy and happiness they get from sharing their delicious, healthy fruits and vegetables with those around them. That joy and sense of fulfillment is what prompted them to band together with five other farming families in Santiago and begin sharing their exceptional fruits and vegetables with people all over their country and beyond.
After creating the Santa Cruz brand in 1987, the families combined generations of farming knowledge to carefully cultivate high-quality onions and a wide variety of mouthwatering oranges, lemons, clementines, grapefruits, kiwifruit, table grapes, persimmons and avocados. After early success in local markets, they expanded their farmlands into several other regions of Chile, including Cabildo, Quillota, San Felipe and Rancagua, and began exporting their exceptional fruits and vegetables to many other countries in the world.
Today, the delightful tastes and textures of their high quality produce can be found on four different continents and in more than 15 countries, making them one of the largest exporters of winter fruit in Chile. Although the Santa Cruz farms have come a long way in 20 years, the families are still focused on what matters to them most – the happiness they get from feeding families like yours the most nutritious, best tasting fruits and vegetables available.
