John Thiesen and his family are fourth generation stone fruit growers based in the heart of the lush San Joaquin Valley in central California. Together with his wife, children, and grandchildren, John farms 315 acres. The fruit is harvested by hand as delicately as possible for the best flavor and quality.
Fun fact: Prior to his farming career, John was a teacher and school administrator. For the past 30 years, he has served as both a high school and university board member and chairman, as well as a coach.
